How to understand your results
- If the preview is sharp and stable here, your camera hardware is probably working and the problem may be in Zoom, Teams, Meet or another app.
- A dark picture usually means lighting or exposure is the issue. Face a window or add a lamp before changing drivers.
- A low resolution can be normal for older built-in webcams or when the browser chooses a conservative stream.
- If the preview freezes, close other camera apps and retest after refreshing the browser.
